With winter impending we’ll no doubt be in constant and deep deliberation on what to make our hairs for the season. While there are of course a range of delightful dos for you to choose from, there are also a few definite no-nos. These are the hairstyles you really don’t want to be wearing this winter; the ones that have gone out of fashion and won’t be coming back anytime soon.
Black Pixie Crop
Blame Rihanna. The pixie crop has been blown out of fashion, especially when dark coloured! The hairstyle that spurred Piers Morgan to suggest on Twitter that Rihanna needed to ‘grow her hair back. Fast!!’’; has caused a sensation amongst the press, media and public.
The last thing you’ll therefore want to do is put yourself in a position where you seem as if you’re imitating Rihanna, especially if the look you’ll be imitating isn’t really worth the bother. To put it bluntly, any association with Rihanna’s new hairstyle isn’t going to be too great of a fashion choice this winter.
Miley Cyrus’ Pink Do
On the note of not wanting to bare association with any hairstyles that have been lynched by the public and media, Miley Cyrus’ new Pink imitation hairdo is also a definite no-no.
Quite why anyone would want to imitate Pink’s hairdo is baffling and despite Pink commending the young actress for her bleached blonde crop, it definitely isn’t IN this winter.
The Tight Curl Perm
It doesn’t take a fashion genius to work out that perms aren’t really in style anymore. And by ‘aren’t really’, I mean ‘most definitely not’!
The worst variation of the perm is the tight curl perm hairstyle that was once upon a time (some 25 years ago to be a bit more precise) a sensation amongst women across the country. Tight curl perms simply don’t look good on any hair, whether it’s short, medium, long, brown, blonde or ginger.
It looks especially bad on short hair however. It’s also the worst, worst choice of wedding hair – just thought I’d let you know.
This one’s a bit of a controversial one because centre partings – when pulled off well – can make a gal look stunning. However, not many girls can pull it off and as a result of so many girls trying and failing to pull it off in recent months; it’s gone out of fashion.
That said, a centre parting red hairstyle can be delightfully attractive, as recently shown by Alyson Hannigan.
These are the hairstyles you really don’t want to be wearing this winter; the ones that have gone out of fashion and won’t be coming back anytime soon.
